We had an excellent stay in Chania just off the old town and the restaurants. The owner helped us to enjoy the new year. The location was prime near the waterfront, and had everything you needed...

Loved the feather pillows - didn't even have to ask for them in advance! The spot was super peaceful, just a stone's throw away from the pretty beach and the buzzing town center with lots of tasty eateries 🌊🍽️.

During my stay at this hotel over Christmas, there were a couple of standout positives. the proximity to the vibrant Old Town was a major advantage. It was just a pleasant walk along the water to reach the beautiful Old Town, with numerous restaurants along the way. Additionally, the beach was only a few minutes' walk away, making it convenient for swimming. Secondly, the balcony provided a gorgeous view of the water, and the soothing sound of the sea was truly enjoyable. Lastly, the property itself was comfortable and clean, ensuring a cozy stay during the festive season.
There were a couple of minor negatives that slightly affected my experience. the beds were a little squeaky, which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

The apartment had a lovely terrace with free WiFi, perfect for sipping cocktails and pretending to work while enjoying the view. The kitchen had all the appliances, but who needs to cook when you have takeout options nearby?
Oh, how I missed proper cutting knives and bowls. But who needs those when you're on vacation, right?

Living room with a sofa - The living room in this hotel was so comfortable, it felt like sinking into a plush marshmallow. I could have spent hours lounging on that sofa, watching TV and enjoying the cozy ambiance.
Limited cutleries - Could benefit from more knives and bowls.

The apartment at Captain Nick in Chania was absolutely cozy and comfortable. The living room with a sofa made us feel right at home, and the well-equipped kitchen with a dining area was perfect for our family meals. The private bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer added a touch of luxury to our stay. We loved every minute of it!
If I had to pick one thing I liked less, it would be the private entrance. It's just my personal preference, but I would have preferred a more open and welcoming entrance.

The noisy double bed provided an exciting soundtrack to my sleep.
